In [[579 BC]], the trio conspired to [[poison]] [[Darcalus Rex]], then master of [[Darkon]]. Acting on behalf of her husband, Lady Karawinn hired [[Balitor]] and [[Oldar Wahldrun]] to steal some [[water]] from a ~~[[polluted]]~~ [[river]] near [[Castle Avernus]]. The duo was told it was magical water that granted youthfulness, though it was really a terrible [[poison]]. Oldar and Balitor ran into some [[zombie]]s in the field but were rescued by a partially amnesiac [[Firan Zal'honan]]. Firan detected the poison and returned with his two benefactors to the Karawinn [[estate]]. Lady Karawinn gave offered them ([[poisoned]]) [[wine]] while she fetched their rewards.However, Firan exposed the ruse and called out Lord Karawinn, whom demurely came out and at first apologized profusely, thinking Firan was Darcalus.
