It provides instruction in taming, training, enhancement and deployment of undead slaves by means of imparting the skill ''Reign Undead'', various feats and [[spell|spells]], as well as practical examples. A final chapter, which the Weathermay-Foxgrove Twins refused to discuss or even read in-depth, provides a method for the aspiring Necromancer to initiate the transformation into a [[Lich]]. The suggestion is that each volume of the series contains a different way to affect this change.
