Celebrated on July 10 in recognition of the warmest [[day]] in [[summer]], Summer's Night began as a [[holiday]] in [[Lamordia]] but has since spread to nearby [[Dementlieu]], [[Falkovnia]], and [[Mordent]]. Although it is purported by [[Lamordian]]s to stave off horrendous [[winter]]s, it has lost this context in traveling to nearby domains, where it represents mostly a [[festival]] in the middle of summer.

The celebration marks a time for the Lamordian people to wear [[clothing]] much brighter than their normal bland and stodgy garments. Before the festival, women gather [[flower]]s to make [[mask]]s and men gather flowers to make [[crown]]s. As the festival commences, women represent aspects of summer whereas men represent aspects of winter. With the descent of [[twilight]], the people go into a traditional [[dance]] that embodies summer's conquest over winter. Said dance is purported to be the source of summer's perpetuation.
