Before the three Mindefisk Sisters became darklords, each had conspired to seduce and manipulate a traveler into taking her from the boring rural land she lived in. Eventually, a traveling dandy came along, and each tried to seduce him in turn. He saw their game and played along with it. Ultimately though, he bore no intention of letting any of them come with him. Envy got the most of the sisters, and they murdered him rather than let another take him. The world around them melted, and they found themselves hideously disfigured in the new land of Tepest.[1]
