| [[Teeny Tiny Tales of Terror]] is a project initiated by [[John W. Mangrum]] on the [[Cafe de Nuit]] forum. In preparing his own personal "revised Denizens of Dread," Mangrum decided to include a flavor blurb on each creature, "I though[t] it would be interesting to have the "read aloud" blurb that WotC started using with 3.5 not be a simple visual description (since I find those to be generally less detailed than the old style). Instead, each "blurb" would be a short mood piece, as if quoting a snippet from a survivor's account, a journal entry, or a horror tale in which the creature appears." He solicited such blurbs on the forum in several threads, alphabetically, which contain contributions from many forum members. | |
