A nobleman born in Naples, Italy in 1579, Romeo Giacamo Galli[1] was inspired by the play Romeo & Juliet to go to London and become an actor. He was known for immersing himself in his acting roles. So much so, that he accidentally convinced a fellow actor named Leo Scanzi that his affections for Leo's wife Madonna Scanzi were real in their acting the parts of Romeo and Juliet.
