Damien Lochwood is a deceased member of adventuring band known as The Hand. He was murdered, his neck was snapped, in a surprise attack while he and his fellows were assisting Dr. Rudolph van Richten in hunting and destroying the Gibbering Golem in the asylum of Devering prior to the appearance of Van Richten's Guide to the Created in 739 BC. Van Richten described him as being an "elven warrior and mage".
