Zuleika Toranescu is an NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. She is a werewolf, a devotee of Mother Night, and a member of the Children of Mother Night. She is also the wife of Emil Toranescu, whom was taken away by Strahd after causing a rift in the pack by questioning some of the choices of Kiril Stoyanovich, the leader of their pack. She thus prays to Mother Night for revenge and his release.[1]
In Curse of Strahd
Kiril charged Zuleika to watch over the kidnapped children from nearby human settlements, though she is willing to let them go if the characters help her avenge Emil. She believes them to be her ticket to see Emil freed and Kiril punished. With Kiril slain, the player characters might well be able to find a peaceful solution to the Werewolves in the Mists adventure hook.[1]
