In the 4th Edition module Fair Barovia, Nikolai and Karl Wachter were cousins, surviving members of the Wachter Family that resided in Vallaki. They were also members of the town council attended St. Andral's Church. As part of his revenge against Strahd, Leo Dilisnya murdered them both. Father Lucian Petrovna seeks to learn who killed them and see their killer brought to justice.[1]
