Farelle is an Island of Terror. It is wild, covered by forests filled with dangerous beasts. Jack Karn, a jackalwere called the wandering tinker, rules the domain. Surrounded by rural farmland, Kaynis in the west and Mortilis in the east are the only communities of note in Farelle.[2]
Most Farellians are simple peasants. Each family typically sires an unusually high number of children: a dozen or more children, in part to make up for the precariously high child mortality rate in the domain.[2]
Besides a climate that seems to embrace seasonal extremes in temperature, the chief dangers of Farelle are animalistic predators, both natural (jackals, wild dogs, and the like) and unnatural (lycanthropes and jackalweres).[2]
The domain has yet to have any mention of it in official media since the Grand Conjunction.
It may still lie in the mist, or it, and its darklord, may have been released from the Domain of Dread forever.
