Madeline Stern is a ghost haunting the ship called the Endurance.[1] Although she died in childbirth, Madeline believes her demise was instigated by Lucretia Graben.[2] She is correct.[3] She is also aware of the Graben Family's theft of her cadaver and hiring Captain Garvyn to deliver it to Todstein. They also stole her ring.[4]
Madelin Stern's son, Morvan Stern is still alive and lives on Graben Island.[2]
