Cumbre de Oro is a pocket domain within Mictlan. The mythical city of Cumbre de Oro is filled with treasure, but the treasure is cursed. It is possessed by greed incarnate; anyone who takes any will eventually become obsessed with it.[3] The domain has no living inhabitants; the undead and the entirely unliving are the only creatures that dwell within Cumbre de Oro. Whereas the magical construct [[guardian]s merely operate on their final instructions, the undead endlessly wage war on each other in two factions. One side serves Anibal Coronado, the explorer and conqueror from the Holy Empire, and one side serves Maxaantii, the priest king turned mummy that originally ruled the city.[4]
