A character from the novel Heart of Midnight, Gaston Olyava was one of the competitors for the right to challenge Zhone Clieous for the title Meistersinger of Harmonia. He lost to Casimir Lukas.[1] After Casimir replaced the deceased Clieous as meistersinger of Harmonia, Gaston Olyava attempted to sew dissent among the wealthy and powerful of [{Harmonia Hall]]. Casimir challenged Gaston to a duel, but Gaston's skill was better with the rapier. Casimir was able to win through enlisting the aid of Harkon Lukas to cheat.[2]
