Its northern and western limits are respectively the Darkonese frontier and the Nocturnal Sea. A line extended from Bergovitsa to the sea marks its southern frontier. The Borchava Duchy of the Hiregaard family lies to its west and the Ivlis Duchy of the Rivtoff family lies to its south. The vast majority of the Dommark ("Thundering Plain") and the eastern half of the Elendighedmark and the Kesjermark ("King’s Plain"). The temporal leader of the region and of all of Nova Vaasa is Prince Othmar Bolshnik. The spiritual leader is Mathias Bolshnik, the Aerkebiskop of Kantora.
