The Nuestra Seniora is a statue on exhibit in Manila Cathedral. The Katipunan Lihim believe it to be a force of [[evil] even long after it was used by Antonio Pijafetta to grant the Red Death power over the Philippines.^[1] Melchora Aquino fell under its power for a time, but she managed to break free from it.^[2] Unfortunately, Jose Rizal's plot to destroy it results in his arrest and execution by the Spanish authorities.^[3]
