Sherlock Holmes

Dr. Sherlock Holmes is the famous detective from England written about in the stories of Arthur Conan Doyle. Dr. John Watson serves as his medical consultant, and Dr. James Moriarty is his nemesis. On Gothic Earth, all of the above characters are actual people, making the stories of Doyle based on true events. Both Holmes and Watson are very good friends of Doyle's.

In 1892, Holmes seemingly meets his doom fighting Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls. However, in 1897, Holmes resurfaces and reveals that his death was merely a hoax. Holmes perpetrated the ruse in order to finish off Moriarty's criminal network.
