During the time of Death's dominion over all of Darkon, Azalin's essence had been scattered to the ends of his domain. As he tried to reconstitute himself, his influence brought nightmares to people across Darkon. These nightmares usually took the form of spectral night terrors or being swallowed up by endless darkness.[1]
