Celestia

Celestia looks around the room with the Detect Magic to see if any other magics appear (other than the Fog and Dispel), before she follows to Dea's room. The items of interest are the way the woman disappeared and any fire-based spells that might have been cast in the area.

DM

The group seems well stocked magically, with an assortment of weapons and items. Other than that, there is no other magic in the room.

Celestia Celestia follows Dea. She looks kind of pale and extremely nervous. Walking up to Dea, she says "I have a couple of different methods I can use to find out what happened. The most dangerous would be me recreating and reliving the dead man's life upto and including his death. The results are...."
Celestia pauses and looks more pale. "Um, rather unpredictable and dangerous, even deadly in some cases. Or I can try some of the other methods, that should be safer." At that comment, Celestia rubs a pouch that is neatly tucked into the waistband of her skirt.
She looks at the newcomers with some apprehension, but will trust in Dea's judgement. She also seems anxious to act.

Dea

"Ah, I do not think the man will be able to convey any useful information, though I am sure he will have found his ladies behavior odd. I do believe the lady herself might give you more information, but I would not try to relive her death, especially as it will be difficult to judge when exactly that took place."
Dea smiles reassuringly. "I have some ideas, and I may be totally wrong. But I fear that whoever caused this is gone, though not for long. I also think that we do not have much to fear from her right now, though his may not be the case for others."
She looks meaningfully at Dolph.
"As to your other methods, I do not know which you plan to use. However, I am quite certain that magic was not involved in this matter." She smiles. "But I could be hopelessly wrong, as I have been hopelessly misguided in the past. So please do whatever you deem necessary."
She opens the door of her room, letting her companions in. Rummaging through a bag that is on her bad, she puls out some ointments.
"Now, let's see those wounds."
Dea plans to use cure light wounds to cure Dolph, if he lets her, that is.
She uses the salve to treat most burns and Cornelia's cut.

Dolph

Dolph is more than happy to accept the help, "See," he says to Kat, "Good as new."

Cornelia

Cornelia peers at the salve curiously, but says nothing as it's applied to her shallow wound.

Dea

"It's a simple salve with herbs to disinfect the wound. Hard to find, these herbs. They spring up in abundance one year, and next season you'll find none.
There, that'll do. It's not a deep wound, you'll be fine.
My name is D..Du.. Hm." Deas face twitches briefly with irritation. "Quarta. Please call me Dea. So, what is your name? You didn't state it."

Cornelia

"My name is Cornelia Sulla," the warrior replies, pronouncing it corNAYlee-a SOO-la. "Thank you for your kind attentions, wise one."

Dea

"Wise? I almost panicked back there. Hardly wise. And that after over fifteen years of training. No, I failed back there, though that is not something you need worry about."
She looks from Cornelia to Dolph and back.
"Do you know each other? I saw you talk to that other woman, and she seems to know this reckless man.
Regardless, I am interested in both your impressions of what happened."

Dea has left her room open, so people can come in if they want.
The room is tidy, as if it had not been slept in yet.
There is a satchel on the bed, from which Dea has taken the salve.
There is also larger bag, set in the corner.

Dea

"I am pleased that your wounds are not more serious.", Dea says to Dolph.
"Now, I think it may be polite to introduce yourselves... preferably before the guards of this town will come to interfere."

Dolph

"I am Dolph Lithenstien," he says sketchung a bow that is somehow elegant despite the singed clothes he wears. Through the tatters you see lean and corded muscle.
"I and my companions, Lady Kathryne, and Lady Cornelia, were on our way to my residence when we spotted the fires. You are a healer are you not? The shattering of the wall and window sent a spray of carnage into the streets below. Perhaps you might be able to apply your skills to those below. I have but little, but I can pay you well for your time," he says pouring out over a dozen pieces of platinum into his palm.

Kat

Katherynne stands in the room after Cornelia helps her in, and listens to the introductions of the others, saying little until approached. Once Cornelia is healed, Kat goes over and examines the woman, making certain the healing was done correctly.
When Dolph presents his propostion to the healer, Kat waits to see the reaction.

Dea

A frown appears on Dea's face at the clattering of coins.
"Hmph. I'm a healer, yes, but of souls, generally, not of bodies.
I do not think you can comprehend how and why we apply our skills, as you are not of our people, and on top of that, you are a spellslinger." She regards the orthers in the room.
"Several of you are, in fact. I'm sorry to say I have little trust in the arcane. Magi spell trouble where I come from. And while I have heard claims that the arcane are different over here, I have yet to see proof of that."
She eyes Dolph again.
"Your surge was quite destructive. Save your money for that. I do not value it."
With that, she rises to her feet. Her face softens a bit.
"But yes. I will tend to the wounds of your people.
When that is done, maybe we can find the cause of the true pain that still lingers, and end it."
She abrubtly turns, and walks out the door to the chaos downstairs.

Dolph

Dolph raises his eyebrows as he watches her go. "Making all sorts of friends today, aren't I?" He sighs. "Some days..." he says as he starts down the stairs and follows her to the street bellow.

Natacha

Natacha will not join the others right away. Instead she runs down to the street to look for the old woman.

DM

The old woman is gone.
Down on the street there is mass chaos. A handfull of healers are wadding through the wounded lending what aid they can. The acident happened to a rather large group of onlookers, She does notice the approach of a large carriage though. It is the kind used to carry wealthy nobles. From the crowd here are soft murmers of awe mixed with a tinge of fear. A single word manages to escape their lips as they clear a away from the carriage.
Renier.

Natacha

Natacha looks for the clerk -- the one that complained about the old woman earlier.
Not wanting to offend whomever is in the carriage and not wanting to be trampled by the horses anyway Natacha withdraws to the side of the road.

Dea

Before she steps outside, Dea moves to Celestia.
"You seem a spell slinger, but despite that, I feel I can trust you. I would like to speak with the dead woman later on. I hope to trust you to not let anybody move her body just yet."
She then walks down the stairs, her satchel slung over her shoulder.

Celestia

Celestia looks at Dea and nods. She moves to the hallway and "guards" the door.
If anyone approaches the room, Celestia will ask them to move on. She will look in the room and make a warding sign towards the bed. She hopes that this will give people the incentive to move on by themselves.

DM

Celestia realizes that one of the best signs to keep people away is the sign of "The plague".

Dea

Best to make something out of this, she thinks.
Outside she glances over the crowd, taking in the most hurt, the healers, and he onlookers.
As she cannot find anyone in charge, she motions over one of the bystanders.
"Get those men out of here", she commands, pointing at the most hindering patrons.
She then proceeds to motion the hurt (those that can walk) inside, where she hopes to treat them.
Dea is used to having 'authority', and people stopping and listening, so she will behave that way (doesn't mean people will listen, ofcourse).
While people are moved inside, she casts goodberry, which she hopes will heal the most hurt. If people are very hurt, she uses cure light wounds, i.e. if they cannot walk. She will be busy for a while.
She will ignore the carriage, but assumes that the carriage will stop or take another route.

DM

The clerk is gone as well, the whole scene is one of controlled chaos. It is likely that he had bussiness to take care of. Posibly the calming of the other tenants.
The carriage has stopped, the door is being opened by a man with a long narrow face and wirey mustache. Out steps a very attractive woman with a sense of confidence and assurance. Sleek and elegant she steps foreward. The crowd, those who still linger, part like breaking waves before her.
Upon seeing you, she smiles. "Lord Lithenstien! Should I say that I am surprised to find you here? No, I suppose not. Ever are you whre there is action. Tell me what has transpired here? Why are so many of my people lying bleeding on the way?" A soft chuckle slips between her lips, "And why pray tell are you nearly naked out in the snow?"
Dolph sketches a low bow, "Lady Renier, my appologies for my attire. There was a fire, I sought to extinguish it."
She smiles, "I have heard that you are good at quenching flames..." she says eyeing him.
"The healers have things well under hand," he gestures to the healers working their way through the crowd.
"Perhaps we might discuss this elsewhere? Some place with a roaring fire and hot tea?" he suggests.
"A delightful idea," she says clasping her hands together and smiling...

Cornelia

Cornelia comes down the stairs just in time to catch this final exchange.

Dea

As Dea escorts one of the wounded inside, she casts a glance over her shoulder to Dolph.
"Short attention span, that man." she mutters.
"He could be of help there assisting me, instead of flirting with this Renier woman, no matter that she is of import. Men always seem to involve sex when women are in power."
"But then, it's all the same with men."
