The Queen's Halls - Maps

The Queen's Halls belong to the largest building in and near New keep, a border town in the new kingdom of Sunndi. Also known as the Hall of Records, it serves the dual purpose of being both a library (and the state archive) as well as the temple of the goddesses Lirr and Lydia.

Up till several years ago, the Queen's Halls served as the quarters for the bards' guild, and even though the guild has moved it's main offices to Pitchfield, the halls play an important part in any storymonger's life, and several rooms are still reserved for the greatest talents.
During the occupation of Sunndi by the Great Kingdom's army, the Halls were used for the recordkeeping of
Sunndi's populace and tax levies. This tasks is still performed, but it's original purpose, to chronicle the history
and peculiars of the region, has been revived. Now, not only information about the Sunndi region is kept at the library,
but people can find histories and stories (though not all of them truthful) spanning the entire flanaess.
There are works on the origin of the Oeridian people, the Great Baklunish-Suel war, and the rise and fall of the
Great kingdom. Maps and descriptions of places all over the known world are found here.
The bards of Sunndi (who received their own halls as a token of appreciation in their support during the rebellion) still have free access to the records, though the maintenance now lies into the hands of the clerics of Lirr and Lydia. They are supported in their efforts by the clergy of Boccob, who have comntrbuted significantly to the number of magical texts in the member's area.
