Alain smiles as he see's Shana enter the inn, but is thrown off by her comment directed at Jamethon.

Looking over to Jamethon, Alain can't help but notice there is something going on here. His eyes idly glance downward momentarily before he directs his attention back to Shana. He gets up out of his chair and gives a slight bow of courtesy.
"Ah, Shana. It is good to see you." He smiles as he approaches her. "I have been well. As a matter of fact I have been keeping myself quite busy as of late. I was just telling our good friend Jamethon all about it." He looks back over to Jamethon with a grin on his face.
"Please, why don't you join us. I would love to tell you all about it. You know, You being from this world would have quite a few interesting things to say about my work, I think so."

Jamethon seems to be paying more attention to the hulking brute who just walked over to the table.

''I saw the great raven die. I know the ones who slew her.''

As they catch up, Archedius looks at Rardi and suggests they head to an inn for something to eat and drink. He hasn't had civilized food in a few weeks.

Once they arrive at the Inn, they look around and seeing Inovidil they approach the table. Rardi takes in the rest of the party with a practiced eye.

Thank you very much Capatin!"

Says Inovidil as Rask gives her the badge.

"I'll contact my friends right now and ask them to join as well. I'll come again tomorrow in order to learn exactly what should be my duties."

With that the evoker exits the room with the other and head back to the inn.

Once there she spots immediately Jamethon and Shana, talking to well known to her figure! Heading to the table with a big smile she says:

"Alan! Welcome back! How have you been?"

Then she greets Shana and Jamethon.

"Hello Shana and Jamethon good to be all gathered together again. Me, Rardi and Archedius are now part of the militia. We want to help this city since it is still in chaos after...after the attack. The Captain told us to recruit loyal and strong people and be a team. Well, I couldn;t have thought any better than you guys! So do you accept? I think will be nice work together and help at the same time."

Shana gives a sweet smile to Moorkroft

"yes your enthusiasm at my safety brings a glow to my heart"

She glances back at Alain with a more genuine smile

"Indeed, its good to see you again! I'll be happy to give you a few comments... although..." She looks a little troubled "I'm not so sure that this actually is my world..."

As the large man speaks she glances round with some surprise, eyes narrowing a little, but says nothing, maintaining a bland expression, which flickers to surprise as the others come in.

"Rardi.. good to see some stalwart types will be protecting this city. lathander you say? just what this place needs! and hello Ino!"

Shana turns to Inovidil with a smile, that slips slightly as her jaw drops.

"The MILITIA? What? where? I mean.. yes! the militia! I can imagine they have a lot to do just now. and you want me to join?"

Shana takes a long drink of her ale, looking slightly stunned.

"you want ME to join the militia? Uh... I'm not sure a simple entertainer like myself is cut out for that... and anyway, I've just promised to help Alain with his book..."

Inovidil looks at Shana, indeed the sorcerer was not cut out for the militia...

"Well Shana, I know that you ehmm well, maybe you are not exactly a militia type but these people need help and to be honest that was the only way I could keep my weapons with me without many questions...So if you want to join will be good, but if you don't feel it I totally understand. What about you Jamethon and Alan?"

As talking, Inovidil remembers that she hasn't presented her friends to Rardi and Archedius. Turning to them she says:

"I'm sorry guys, here are my friends Shana, Jamethon and Alan. Shana and Jamethon helped with the undead and Alan is an old friend that seems has arrived today. Right Alan?"

Jamethon nods absentmindedly to Ino, but his attention seems to be directed more at the huge barbarian looming over the table.

''You wanted to meet the hunters of the great raven, yes? Well, all of them save one are before you now. Why don't you sit down and tell us your story. My friend Alain, he collects stories. ''

Archedius stands unobtrusively and listens to the conversation.

The barbarian looks to Shana in a way he would look at a good horse.

"I am called Ironheart by the people of my land. I am strong.
If you are warriors as good as they say, you might have a use for me.
I had planned to travel north, for the realms of the old elves,
but I am open for most other things as well."

The barbarian caresses the twin blades over his shoulders with the cold-blooded affection of a seasoned killer.

"I have been banned from the place of by birth, and now see to find glory on my own."

Alain looks to the large barbarian. When he realizes what he is looking at, his face grows pale.

Alain turns his pale expression back to Shana, "Yes, well that is precisely..."
VAN wrote:"Alan! Welcome back! How have you been?"
Alain turns and looks to see Inovidil, his pale expression of fear changing to one of confusion. He looks back at the big man standing before the table and stammers, "Ex...Excuse me." He then awkwardly walks further away from the table and turns to face Inovidil. His expression growing a little more relaxed once he is out of the big man's reach.

"I have been well. It is really good to see you." He says, then looks over his shoulder towards the big man. "I have actually begun work on a new book."
VAN wrote:"Well Shana, I know that you ehmm well, maybe you are not exactly a militia type but these people need help and to be honest that was the only way I could keep my weapons with me without many questions...So if you want to join will be good, but if you don't feel it I totally understand. "I'm sorry guys, here are my friends Shana, Jamethon and Alan. Shana and Jamethon helped with the undead and Alan is an old friend that seems has arrived today. Right Alan?"
"Er, Yes. That is correct. It is a pleasure to meet you both." He says to the Dwarf and the other large Man with her. Turning back to Inovidil he says, "Well, I am not much of a warrior myself, but being in the militia could allow me sort of an inside track to what is going on around here. Not to mention getting my sword back. I would hate to be caught with just an old shovel again...I'll do it."
ewancummins wrote:''You wanted to meet the hunters of the great raven, yes? Well, all of them save one are before you now. Why don't you sit down and tell us your story. My friend Alain, he collects stories. ''
Alain looks from the hulking barbarian to Jamethon and back to the hulking barbarian. "You want me to collect his..." is all he can manage to get out before he realizes his fear of the man is making him very rude. He stops and takes a breath before continuing. "Yes, of course. Lets hear your story Monsieur...?" After hearing the big mans brief telling, Alain looks even more uncomfortable as the barbarian caresses his weapons which are strapped to his back.
Looking back towards Jamethon, Alain's expression plainly reads that he wants to run far, far away from the giant savage murder machine.

Jamethon says to Alain,
''Well, you said you were collecting interesting tales. I'm sure our new friend here has many such to tell. ''

The fallen priest then turns his attention to the newcomers.

''Archideus and ..Rardi..is it? I am pleased to meet you both. Forgive my slowness in saying so. I've lost...much...of late, and my condition hasn't been well. ''

While the conversation is flowing back and forth, members of the gathering may notice a little commotion at the front of the house. A couple of tin-stars are arguing with the beefy doorman.

Doorman- ''Did you see him? No way I'm doing that!''

Tin-star #1- [cleanshaven and short of stature] ''It's the law! I'm going to do it.''

Tin star # 2 [pudgy and bearded] ''I dunno about this...''

The short, tense exchange is followed by both deputies approaching your table, spears in hand.

The shorter deputy stops about six feet short of Ironheart and announces in a firm and earnest tone-

''Your weapons are not peacebonded and I don't see any emblem representing a sword-charter on your person. If you cannot produce a legal document authorizing you to bear arms, forthwith, I'm afraid I'll have to confiscate those arms.''
