The Fall of House Pancrazio Chapter Two
Julian speaks to Brother Calder as they walk "You see Brother Calder, I am beginning to question whether or not this truly was my Great Aunt, the zombie was rotted to the core, and there is no possible way for her to rot that fast. However there is something else that concerns me, there we strange green worms about the zombie, something of which I have never encountered before. Have you heard of such things?"

''My dog and I, we killed it....uhhh...her. Sorry Julian.''
Here, Tristan gives the champion an apologetic look-
''You see, there was a disturbance at the estate. Someone got into the house and killed poor Mariabella, our cook. Tuke was confused, I suppose; he told us it was a bandit that had done the deed. We all went off looking for the culprit. I took Elsie to sniff out the robber. The trail led us to the greenhouse.''
''Well, you can imagine my suprise when the bandit turned out to be a walking corpse! It was horrible...she had worms in her, like a body that's been dead for a week, not like you'd expect seeing as she left us so recently. Even all rotten like that, I could still recognize Luisa Pancrazio.''
''The queerest part was that she could still speak. I think she recognized me, too. I spoke to her and she answered me. She said ' help family' and 'blood' .''
'' It was a short conversation- she moved to grab me and Elsie jumped her. I shot her in the head and then chopped her up with my hatchet. ''

Calder Looks at Julian and Tristan with alarm.
"I've heard of certain undead that shed their semblance of mortality quite quickly. But those fiends are certain murderers and wholly evil during life. The worms alarm me. There are old legends from Darkon that speak of a priest of death that murdered his entire tribe for power. He was called the worm king and his holy symbol was a skull filled with green worms. However many tales from Darkon are fabrications of that strange and forgetful place.
"Either way, If the creature rose the same day it was entombed, that reminds me of the creature called Wight Men. They are accursed flesh eaters that can kill with a touch. But you say bullets killed it.....I am at a loss. In all my studies i have not encountered tales of such an abomination."
Calder hands a vial of holy water to Tristan, Julian, and Goran. (1)

Julian takes the bottle, looking towards Tristan he nods "No need to apologize Tristan, as I said I am beginning think it wasn't her."
Looking back to Calder "Hmm.. That is indeed strange, no matter. If it turns out her grave wasn't disturbed, that will prove it wasn't her." (1)

To the trained elvish swordsman it appears that the holy man is favoring the humans in his speech and interest. It is nothing new to Talh, he has encountered petty human discrimination before.
"Should we make our way quickly to the graveyard? our lack of knowledge may hinder us, but if the bullets from a gun can fell that type of creature, we should be okay if there are more such things. My knowledge of Wight Men are that they live in cannibalistic warrens."

"Yes lets go." Julian says to Calder.
Julian makes his way back to the Graveyard.

''Canibalistic? They eat people! Ummm....'''
Tristan adjusts the strap of his musket. He flicks his hands over his pistol holsters, and even gives his hatchet a little pat.
He holds up the vial of holy water and peers closely at it.
Looks like ordinary water to me. I wonder if I should open it and smell it? Ummmm...probably not. I wonder if it will really do anything beside make things wet?

The group makes their way towards the graveyard. As they approach the gates, Goran, Tristan, and Tahl notice the vibrant sounds of the forest that surrounds the burial grounds. Calder moves towards the large Iron gates and with a shaky hand puts a key into the heavy chained lock. It opens easily, and with what could be described as near terror, removes the chain. The gates now open up to the group with a nearly in audible whine. The grave yard now looms before them. Luisa's tomb near the rear of the grounds, a place reserved for nobles.

Calder looks at Sir Julian eagerly, and then a strange look crosses his face. His eyes start to look towards the heavens, then roll further back into his head. The cleric swoons before you, collapsing in a heap on the ground. His breaths are short and shallow.
A loud bird song sounds in the distance, towards the tomb of Luisa Pancrazio. Or so you can all swear. All along the path to where just a day before was the funeral, shows signs of recent tracks. Tristan and Goran can easily tell that these prints are from the previous day.
Calder does not rouse from his fainting spell. He has retreated into the safety of slumber

Julian sighs "Well we just can't leave him here alone. Tuke stay with Brother Calder. Come on lets go look at the grave." Julian says a serious look on his face.
With one hand on the hilt of his blade and the other holding the vial he moves into the grave yard making his way towards his Great Aunts grave.

In Von Ziyden-
Lothario Enzo thinks for a moment at Harold's request.
"So, I take it you are affectionate towards Saverio's daughter? I am not surprised. she is quite comely for a woman of her state. It is an easy request. I would make sure that the two of you are provided for. Now, if I were to find out that my offer is betrayed, i can always deny our conversation."
Enzo hands Harold 3 Platinum Barovian coins. Harold knew they would be harder to pass here in Borca, but there were enough greedy merchants in town to make it a good possibility they could be exchanged.
"There are good libraries in Sturben as well. One a scholar such as yourself would appreciate. Mark my words Tutor, their days are numbered and having an ally at the manor would only help contain the collateral damage. Perhaps next time for breakfast?"
Enzo crosses the street quickly, because like Harold, he spots a carriage coming towards them bearing the circle with arrows piercing it that stands as the coat of arms for House Pancrazio. Enzo moves away in the opposite direction towards a group of men that Harold recognizes as the noblemans guards from the night before.
Two emaciated horses draw the wagon, the elderly Emilio at the reigns.
"Hello Harold, i do hope you weren't planning to walk to the Manor this Morning. I apologize that Tahl is not here as usual but some strange goings on at the manor have called his attention. Master Roderigo asked me to collect you this morning. I'm afraid miss Phebe has been worse than usual this morning. Her outbursts are causing the masters daughter some distress I am told."
As Emilio says "the master" his inflection in tone is obvious to his feelings for the man.

Tristan keep his right hand on a pistol butt as he follow Julian. He carries the vial of holy water in his left hand.
I hope this stuff isn't just well-water!
