Still not get Rask's involvement. Ildool did these things but if Rask was with them why he wanted to help us? He could let us in prison.
VAN, I don't think we're talking about what you're talking about. You remember that the first investigation into the beheadings was closed suddenly and we were switched to the smuggling case? In order to do that they framed and murdered some random guy.

Do we have a final word on Skybolt's game then?

VAN wrote:So we will actually start a new game with Lord Skybolt waiting you Raf to be on line in few weeks? And there will be no sequel?

A question, which is Breana's pocket domain and curse? And Marsmber entered in Mists, but who became DarkLord? Lord Ildool?
Marsember did not enter the Mists- all of its inbahitants did! The city itself, the physical city, remains in Realms.

I will not divulge the details of Rardi's domain and curse, as those may be used in a future game- or a Quoth the Raven Article.

The 1st level game is a sequel, of sorts, for we will play inbahitants [of visitors] of Marsember who were sucked into Ravenloft by the Mists- after the Raven Queen was ressurected and Rardi's wicked actions 'completed' the link bteween worlds. Of course, our lvl one dudes won't know how or why they were taklen- and will probably not real;ize that the whole poulation of our city was taken!

That guy wasn't random. Rardi, Shana, and Ironheart captured/arrested him. He was the naked guy who was slashing up a girl at the Palace of Celestial Delights. He was neither random nor innocent of serious crimes.

He just wasn't the real killer, and neither was Delthrin.

Van, you are on board, then.?

Cool.

Kintire- looks like it's level one, Marsemberites in the Mists. That seems to be what Skybolt most wants to run, based on my phone conversation with him last night. It also has pretty strong player interest, and people are already working up PCs. It keeps continuity with SB/RLO/RoD, but it also allows Skybolt to run the sort of 'back to basics/novice adventures' game that he's been thinking about for a while.

Well, I don't like 1st level. So for sure will play your game.

But OTOH I like the group and want to play the sequel so even if is 1st level I'll join. I just hope we level fast!

As for game jankie lol I play also 3 other characters in another site ;) But these games there are very slow so I have time for more ;)

Indeed.

Skybolt tells me that we will be able to level up- how fast may depend on how much we actually accomplish. Teamwork! Then, we will kick butt and earn more xp. Leveling in 3E is relatively fast, especially so at low levels. It'll be fun.

Alright, I have my character concept. I just need to know the generation guidelines.

Well, i enjoyed playing Shana... but we can always petition Ewan for a later sequal!

I may well come up with a not dissimilar concept though... I'm in the groove. What is everyone else playing? Are we missing anything? And what are we allowed to use, sourcebookswise?

From what Skybolt has told me:

standard rolls [4D6, drop the lowest, assign freely] - with the caveat that sets should be approved by the DM. He might adjust scores slightly, to keep people from being way too weak/powerful.

We can use the major 3.5 stuff, but I don't think he's using psionics , incarnum, all that weird stuff. If it's in the SRD [except psionics] it should be good. Complete Champion/Warrior/Arcane etc are all pretty much allowed. He has and uses most of the Race and Environment books, too, I think.

I know for 100% certain that he is NOT using spell points. He made that very clear to me.

He likes the Pathguy generators, but we certainly don't have to use those.

He hasn't mentioned any alignment restrictions. I'm going to play a good guy, though. :)

I am thinking of playing a mage of sorts for a change. That is unless everyone else is playing wizards. In that scenario I will think of something else.

I do have a distinct concept in my head for a mage though

Having played a sorceress in the same game as a wizard using spell points, I would just like to say I think this is a sound decision.

So, looks like no one's got rogue or cleric covered...

I might go rogue
