No need to have rolled for that as your character can just be going in the same direction is all . But your character may lose her in the village since the little girl knows the village better than yours does

Doesn't matter that, actually is better that. If Sara meets someone else from the group will tell them that she is following the girl. If she lose her she will just go back and join the others.
