Back in 2008, Goodman Games put together this compliation, statted-out for 1E AD&D for GenCon:

I have a copy and am toying with the idea of adapting it for Ravenloft for a new campaign. I mean goblins, zombie miners, were-rats--it screams RL!

The small village of Silverton (Pop. 76) needs to be near hills and has an abandoned silver mine and problems with goblin bandits. I'm thinking that Tepest might be the best fit.

The Revenge of the Rat King (Pt. III) takes place in a city sewer system. I considered Il Aulk (my game will be post-Conjunction but pre-Requiem), but I think that Azalin and the Kargat wouldn't let a "Rat King" gain a foothold in the city. Maybe Port-a-Lucine would work.

Any comments or suggestions?

Possibly one of Nova Vaasa's northern cities would be good for the Rat King adventure, if you want to keep it closer to the site of the first scenario in Tepest. The Rat King could be a rising crime boss who's an up-and-coming rival of Malken's, perhaps a male Renier who left Richemulot because Jacqueline's death-grip on authority within the family didn't leave him any hope of advancement back home.

Galf's more of a foreset highwayman than a sewer rat slaver king. But the fact remains, I don't see wererats in the sewers as the sort of thing Azalin would care to bother with until they got way out of hand. The Kargat might be trying to flush them out, but extermination of an entrenched enemy with home turf advantage in a maze of catacombs isn't really their forte.

On the other hand, Nova Vaasa would work well too, I agree with Rotipher on that. I could even see Malken and the Rat King in a game of "cat and mouse" for underworld supremacy.

Oh, I brought up Galf Kloggin specifically because he's not a high level guy. In one of the Gazetteers it's even brought up that Azalin could easily deal with him, but Galf is so low level that Azalin can't be bothered and would rather train his Kargat to deal with instead.

Haha! I like that. That might just have to work into it.

Also, by the Domains of Dread Map, Kantora is only about 35 miles from the Tepest border. The red box map puts it at about 31 miles. Hmmmm......
