Prices vary a lot by quality and rarity of the work in question, but you are correct about books being cheaper in Richemulot than in a medieval domain. Priting presses are pretty scare in poor, primitive countries like Barovia.
200 GP will make for a nice addition to the library.
Dorgio knows a guy who owns and operates a print shop (Thom). Benn deals in books, among other things. Either or both of theose guys might help him find books for the library.
Is he staying in contact with any PCs from previous adventures?

I hope so. I've always sort of liked the idea of Benn and Dorgio sort of growing to be an odd couple set of friends, given that Benn is pretty much an atheist and Dorgio a devout cleric but having been through so much together that they it doesn't matter.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Yeah, I like the idea, too.
It's up to Brock, of course.
This game will take place away from Pont-a-Museau (at least initially), but you can see that I'm still using NPCs and history built up over the course of our campaign.
If it's been a year since last game, how old is Benn's son?

Since recuitment is over, and people still have comments and questions, I have made this thread into the general OOC thread for the game.

Benn definitely. I've got a list of who he planned to stay in contact with somewhere, give a second to dig it up.

Okay here we go. Dorgio would have kept in close contact with both Benn and Thom during the past year. Is Dorgio godfather to Benn's kid or did I just make that up?
Dorgio would probably keep in touch with Eustace too, given the similarity of their faiths. He also might have tried to check up on Everline. When we left off she was suffering some sort of obsession with those caverns, so Dorgio might have wanted to keep tabs on her and see if those compulsions have kept up.

The first official IC post will go up on Halloween.

Eustace has spent that year going around the Core, in search for books for the library. He has supported himself trying to sell illuminures to any wealthy noble, as he has taken an interest, in the previous adventure, to studying the higher-classes and their psychology.
He can also produce alchemical substances, so I think he eventually gravitated to some university where he could attend classes on Psychology and Hypnosis (if available) and at the same time support himself in some chemical lab or so, by providing his talents for the university as an alchemist and herbalist. He is still collecting books. If 8 months are enough for taking a semester of classes and going around, then I can consider he was in his monastery for the rest of the year to return his acquisitions. We can adjust that to up to 10 months, I think.
Eustace is frugal. He is used to cheap conditions, and his faith supports that way of living. I don't have books with me now, so how much would his upkeep cost, tuition, etc., and how much could he make in that time?
Has the party heard anything from Juergin since the last campaign ended? I think the last time we saw him he'd joined a group of resistance fighters in Sithicus, right?

My pc's name is Juergin. I think you are referring to Franz my Falkovnian pc who has Munchen as a nice mean dog
Ha, right. Got my Germanic-sounding names mixed up.

If he trades his knowledge and expertise to the university, he can get into classes 'free.' You may assume that all his living and travel costs are covered.
Does he havd any craft or profession skills?
Will he sell spells?

He has craft (alchemy), craft (illuminator) and Profession (herbalist). He will not sell spells, but yes, he can give his work to the university. He is also hoping to do the occasional work (illuminures, book scribing) for a noble if that's allowed. I bet he could illustrate genealogy books or such kind of things.
