Other wartime "muddy morality" movies that I think fit Falkovnia very well include Hotel Rwanda, Blood Diamond, and The Beast (or The Beast of War). Several Chinese Imperial-epic genre movies also show the pattern of rebel leader turned righteous emperor turned corrupt despot. Any of these could make the Falkovnian leadership more than just villainous, unilaterally bad people.
