I'm trying to work up to spending 5 skill points and a feat on a purely rp background thing with no game use. Be right with you.

Most likely, yes.kintire wrote:I put it in a little while ago now. Easter holiday? :p
After Easter, I expect things will pick up again.
Happy Easter, everybody!

Re: Back to Basics OOC
We've had nothing posted IC since March 13th.
It's now June 8th.
That's a long time. The game appears to be dead, to put it bluntly.
I've spoken briefly with LSB about the game, a couple of times. No word on when we might resume.
Here’s my suggestion:
I call him tonight. If he’s not going to restart it, I will be perfectly happy to run a basic adventure I have written. That adventure will pick up where LSB left off. You guys can play your current PCs. Dalorna can join her little bro as a helpful NPC.
If no one is interested in restarting the game, well, it's been nice gaming with you.
I believe this little adventure will be fun and challenging. Because it is already prepped, there shouldn’t be any long lag periods. I'm expecting to give you a much faster pace, so long as most of you can post at least once a week (more often will yield faster play). I’ve even pre-typed some descriptive room/area posts as needed, just like a module. There’s something for every PC to do. The action won’t be rigidly plotted or forced—you will definitely have important choices to make. I can't say more, for fear of spoilers.
If LSB has no objection to me picking up his game to run this adventure, and if all of you are down, then I can post right away. My main game (Ghosts of Gauntcliff) is ending soon, most likely. I won’t be running or playing anything else till after I do some tests for school.
If everyone is available for chat, I can run this one as chat. It might only take a couple of sessions, depending on your in-game choices and the way the dice fall.
I’m assuming PbP works better for most of you.
Thoughts?
Or is this attempt at thread necromancy doomed?

Re: Back to Basics OOC
Fine by me Ewan, one way or another I would like to see this game start again so even if its Skybolt or you as DM it's absolutely fine by me
Chat games are faster yes but we need to decide when to do them and where. PbP is a bit slower but give us players bigger margin to post. But once again I will go with the maggiority

No rpobs.
Of course, I cannot and will not run this without LSB's permission. Who knows, maybe he will pick up and run it?
If so, I can always run the adventure for my tabletop group.
I am still trying to get in touch with him. Because of his hours and the time zones in between us, it's best for me to call him late at night.

Re: Back to Basics OOC
I would definitly be in for either option. I'm not likely to be available for chat until July, and i won't be posting from 16/6-1/7 due to summer holiday, but I am certainly eager to pick it up from then!
Re: Back to Basics OOC
To be honest have chat games during the summer is a bit difficult for me, it's hard to plan when I will be on and for how long. But if we all agree and I know in advance might make it, but has to be for couple hours only. But as I said above I'd like to see this game pick up again.
