Re: Javenloft
Felix nods trying to keep his head down no longer whispering his spells. Once they exit their cells he looks over to Dim, he can't believe he didn't run when he had the chance but he looks for any sort of recognition that this might be their chance since they are moving all the prisoners at once. He doesn't trust this newcomer as of yet, however it is they had their own agenda. He also looks the way of the one who speaks Falkovnian to get a good look at how he looks. He says nothing for now.
Re: Javenloft
Hanz chuckles, responding in his elvish "Ja, I haff bin told dot many times, worry not."
He stops talking when the voice starts up, the soothing comfortable one. He would have liked to look around but the black hood prevents such action.

Re: Javenloft
After an enlightening conversation with Sir Squeaks Grim hears the soothing voice o the hooded man. He tells Sir Squeaks to find him later because destiny awaits. When the guards approach his cell Grim behaves appropriately. A strange sense o calm comes over him, as if this was meant to be. Then again there is always a calm before the storm

Re: Javenloft
To All:
You are all relieved to find that your hoods have two eyes holes cut in them so that you can see, albeit poorly.
Hanz realizes that his hood must have been put on backwards as a guard adjusts it for him.
You can identify each other easily enough by your voices but you still haven't seen each others' faces. The strange man with the soothing voice wears a black hood as well, but he gives himself away whenever he speaks. He is not manacled, and he is not alone, having three hooded companions. He wears fine clothes and a cloak. He directs you to follow him though torch lit dungeon corridors crowded with prisoners. The Guards walk amongst you urging you forward. Unfortunate prisoners still locked within their cells begin to animate and cause a raucous as you pass them by. One raving lunatic who is able to peer out of his cell door mocks your hooded procession by spitting and yelling: "NO REST FOR YOU! NOTHING DIES IN DARKON! NOTHING!" These are your final memories of that horrid place.

Re: Javenloft
Felix tries to shut out the madmen as they proceed down the hallway, he takes note of the cloak looking for any identifying symbols or maybe color's the represent royalty or noble office. He tries to keep close to Dimmer, knowing him the best and trusting him. Though he is a bit hesitant that he might see 'Dimmers Other Side' again.
Re: Javenloft
Once they've left the dungeon, Dimmer breathes Il Aluk's comparatively fresh air and ventures in his most feeble Mordentish, I know 'en I'm beat, ay, b'let the fool elfkin go. 'E has no seen your face and e's more burden than boon. Not but stew fer brains. Shites his britches more days than no. You'll 'ave a loyal elfman in me if ye send 'at boy off.
Re: Javenloft
Grim shuffles along with the others studying the hooded man and his companions as well as his fellow prisoners . He can almost taste The Brew on his lips already
Re: Javenloft
Hanz grunts, listening to Dim speak. He will speak in an even, truthful tone in Elvish " Leave it be, Dim. Everything will be fine if you have faith, ja? Trust me, mein freund. Let deiner events unroll, ok?"

The well dressed man responds to Dimmer's bluff: "I'll do better than that. I'll let you all loose when the time is right. Have a little more patience and don't worry. You are all safe."Divkren wrote:Once they've left the dungeon, Dimmer breathes Il Aluk's comparatively fresh air and ventures in his most feeble Mordentish, I know 'en I'm beat, ay, b'let the fool elfkin go. Re: Javenloft
Felix is hopeful the man's telling the truth. What other choice do they have but to believe him? For now he waits, being pushed along by the guards.
Re: Javenloft
For now, Hanz will accept this smooth talker's help. However, he is ever aware that some help, as Eleina hinted that was dark, is a prelude to owing an unpayable debt. Whomever their benefactor is, there is more than meets the eye to he or she. He would tread lightly with he or she.

It does seem a little odd to you all that you are being released from prison under the cover of darkness. Those of you familiar with the city also notice that they seem to be taking you in the direction of the gallows!

Re: Javenloft
Dimmer stops short and straightens to his full height, taller than any elf of these lands. He looks to Hanz and the elf's eyes are gray fire. Whispering in a slow, calm, murderous Draconic, he brings the march to a halt.
Just as suddenly, his eyes turn back to water, his shoulders hunch, and sickness wells up out of him, bloody gruel pulses out the neck and eyes of his hood as from a flooded drain.
He cowers and feigns pleading with the guards, soiling them with his own vomit, but his Elvish words are for Hanz, We head to the gallows, friend, I'll not see the boy hang!

Trust me, Dim. If not, then I will put myself in front of him and die before him. Just let us continue on our course, and all shall be revealed, mein freund. He nods at Dim then continues walking, urging Dim to do the same. They didn't need any trouble and he had confidence in Eleina.

For the moment Kamose keeps to himself. He wonders why so many of us have been assembled for whatever is to come.
