Roald'ss going to spend the night trying to sleep off the multiple stab wounds he suffered during the rescue. After accepting any healing that's offered.

He'll want to stay at Caer Haes to remain close to Carlion, but will retire to his home if Sir Rory doesn't want him around.

ewancummins wrote:The Archprelate tells Gunnar that Duke Carilon did indeed use the power of his blood to call the fire monster, and not wizardry. "His Grace is not a mage of any kind, to the best of my knowledge. Sorcerors normally cannot weave their delicate and precise enchantments while clad in iron. As for the fire creature; he may only be able to call it at intervals, after a rest. Every few days at the most, I think. Removing fire sources might make it more difficult for him to conjure the things, but I cannot state that with certainty."
I do hope Gunnar tells us that as soon as he return because both PCs and the guards who guard Carillon needs to know that we aren't safe at all from his fire elemental even if we got away the fire sources. Carillon will rest and will have all the time he needs to try to summon the elemental and apparently only Gunnar can fight it with his magical weapon. We need more protection and if anyone else has magical weapon or spells that can counter the elemental to be at the palace ready to assist the guards.

That would be bad if you use percentage to use the Information Gathering skill. But it is a D20 based skill to roll under with Intell as the base for the Skill as NWP . I assume you have that version Right . If you do you need to roll a D20 instead .

Morgan is just going to finish making the concoction, assuming the butcher doesn't interfere in some way.

Ewan, my pm says Fhilye has invited Devlin to war council. He attends it with his guard, and brings count Robin and Braedonnal.

So, Foerde and I are heading North again? Do I understand that correctly?

That is correct we be headed North. Where the Duke can reward us for our efforts against the Goblins. ;)
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.

Okay, I have fast forwarded based on posts, PMs, etc.

Sleep bomb didn't work as intended, but Morgan did at least clap eyes on what looked rather like a gnole.

The Lofton city guards are out in full force, and this time they have loodhounds, ten foot poles, tight formations, and other tools/techniques for finding invisible or hidden foes.

Safana and Morgan may make a narrow escape over the water.

I will post for JMatyr and the move the whole timeline ahead a couple of days.
