b) how much should one page of text, one picture, etc. count toward one reroll (taking the reroll as a basic unit of exhange)?
Assuming the pages of text are all similar in the amount of work that goes in, I'd say a single-spaced page of prose text (1000 words) would be worth one reroll. At the risk of being glib, I think a picture is worth 1000 words.
c) what you think relative prices ought to be--that is, taking the reroll as the basic unit of exchange again, how many rerolls are equal to a skill point, an attribute, a feat, 1000 gp for items, etc.?
Neo's hammered out the majority of the exchange rate, so let me suggest that a 'blind' reroll is worth half a skill point, while a retroactive reroll is worth a whole skill point.

You probably know the answer to that.

I'll note you'll probably want more nuanced reward tiers when it comes to pictures. Those lush, full color multi-character drawings Kage used to do are worth a bit more than a thousand words. :)

As I am able! I have a plethora of projects going on, which is part of why my seven-sentence summary has yet to be posted.

I am going to be very helpful here and say I have no idea.

For the sake of discussion, perhaps for art we can do something like.... (this is based on how I see people charging for commissions on deviantArt and the like). The local artists may have a better idea of what's appropriate, obviously

1 Character; Shaded Sketch / Flat Colors = 1 Point
+Shaded Colors = +1 Point
+Detailed Background = +1 Point
+Additional Characters = +1 Point per Character
+ Complex Action (characters in motion or some such) = +1 Point
Sketchdump (multiple non-shaded sketches amounting to a page or so) = 1 Point

And for writing:
1000 words = 1 Point

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How much 1 point is worth I leave to the GM to determine

It was also suggested we look at this for some other reward options: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/o ... ero-points

Obviously, some of these wouldn't apply (we're not going to be acting out of turn in a PBP), but it's food for thought on some other nice things (all our casters being able to mortgage spells back, for instance.)

I introduced her before, but here's an actual Seven Sentence introduction (it is actually 7 sentences--I counted)

Cattia Jarenberg is an 18 year old Mulan socialite who is recently eligible following the death of her husband nearly a year ago. Of slightly above average height, she is very thin, even by Mulan standards, and well known for never wearing the same outfit twice. A charming young woman who loves to gossip with the elite (Bluff and Diplomacy +13), Cattia is also known to be a shrewd judge of character (Sense Motive +12) and graceful dancer. Despite the strain of her lifestyle on the family finances, she is a loyal Daughter of the Jarenberg as well as devoted to the Lawgiver, and can be found at services almost every evening, giving thanks for being born a Mulan. With foreigners she is courteous and tolerant, but more standoffish than her typical charming self; those of much lower status (Rashemani/peasants) she sees as pets or animals and treats them accordingly. Because she’s from a lesser house, Cattia has perfected the art of knowing whom to approach for an invitation to an otherwise exclusive event. While Cattia shares the Mulan tradition of tattooing, an unusual number of hers depict flowers: a dogwood stem curves up her neck and over her ear to bloom at her temple; a trumpet vine curls around her shoulders like a shawl; a wreath of *pyracantha berries encircles her head, with a queen of the night in the center; *lily of the valley surrounding her navel.

And here are some pics to help with the visualization:

Can you work a lily of the valley in there somewhar? In honor of your dead husband's house? Around the navel would be traditional. Gorgeous pix btw.

The cut scene I just posted (reposted, actually; it appeared in the Shattered City cutscenes) is mostly intended to give a very brief glimpse into the Isfahani family, the Rjoderbergholt, and Mulani funerary customs (as practiced by those who have the space and money for this highly elaborate version of it). It doesn't have plot relevance per se, unless I think of some crazy thing to do with it later.

He did, which is why his name supplanted the correct one in my memory, I suppose. The new "Weathermay" should actually be Bevel Boritsi, from LotB.

Also, it is kinda a pain in the neck trying to be as impressive as Strahd von Zarovich ought to be in official correspondence. *sigh* Let us all pretend that the little note thar covers as many eventualities and gives as many directions as it really ought to, since i have to go write real stuff now. :azalin:

Boy, I sympathize with Lord Blackwood now. Zombies in the House of Lords?! What is this nation coming to?

That was indeed the logic of getting SF:C, although I wish the prerequisite feat wasn't such a waste. As for ride feats, I'll consider them, although I figured Vasili's riding technique was more of the "hold on for dear life" variety than any kind of elegant combat technique.
Okay, I've almost settled on taking Expanded Arcana again. SF:C doesn't do anything for me except line me up for something else cool in another three levels. EA gives me something cool right now.

I put it to all the character building gnomes out there: am I missing something? With my current spell list, what does SF:C give me that beats having two more L1 spells? What spells would you all recommend?
