Raen sighs. "So be it, I don't see any other alternative"

Bennedict looks down at the dog.

"Shame she likes the water so much," he mutters, "We could maybe use you to track her smell."
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

"There is a problem, we aren't sure that Jenny has left her lair. We have gone down there twice and twice we have left in hurry because we were unable to defeat her. Of course I agree to go and try to take whatever she left behind but we need to make sure she isn't there or a way to prtotect ourselves if we get to fight her again. The water will be high by now and we will have even more troubles than we had before. I suggest we go tomorrow morning when the river will be lower and we will be prepared better."

Sara hears
VIEW CONTENT:
a rapping sound at the door, like knuckles striking the wood panel from the opposite side.

Sara's hand instictively goes to her gun even if deep down knows that troubles hardly knock the doors...Turning to face the door she whispers:

"We have company."

THE BACK ROOM

BACK ROOM

The door opens, revealing a weary-looking barmaid. The young woman takes orders from the gathered hunters and hastens off to get their drinks.

The discussion continues for over an hour, giving everyone ample opportunity to voice his opinions (or fears) and argue about tactics.

At last, Vlad sets his empty mug on the table with a hollow thump and announces,
"Night will be falling soon. We had best get to our homes and boarding rooms, unless we mean to be staying here till morning."

Galandel speaks up from the corner of the room, breaking his silence. "I do not think this Jenny can be tracked by mundane means. At least in an natural environment." He says. "Her strength is the water, if we can some how lure her onto dry land away from the river either in the woods or even here in the city we might just gain the advantage we need to kill her."

He moves towards the door, stopping he looks back at the rest of the party. "Think on this." He says. "For now I must return, my wolf was injured during her initial attack against me. I should see to his recovery, and I do not want to cause worry among my people. If there is nothing else, I will depart."
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.

"I wouldn't want to fight such a creature among civilians." Raen said. Then he changed the subject asking those from the town "Where could I find a bath-house around here? After dragging through mud and sewer-water for so long, I want a proper bath, not a rain-wash."

Kat has been content to let the expert monster hunters do most of the talking, but she nods at Raen as he speaks.

"If you do not mind, I vill accompany you Galandel," Franz calls to the elf as he gathers his belonings and Munchen, heading for the door.
