Sure thing boss.

Um, I don't know what the ability score for Fishing is.

Success is what etc? And what do we catch if we do catch anything?

See posts above.
I have already rolled, based on your declared actions and intent.

It's a

1
Big old Grouper that nearly swamps the boat

2

Long Red Eel, a delicacy if cooked right

3

Goby or other common fish

4

Not a fish at all, but something strange...

[dice]224033:1[/dice]

Grouper. A big one, for so close to shore.
It's maybe thirty pounds.

Anybody got cooking skill?

If not, you may just try to cook it anyway.

Or get somebody else, possibly at your inn, to cook it.

Gertie also catches some teensy smelt and some trash fish, but nothing else big. Just that fat grouper.

Blackened, and not the best job.

But not simply ruined( Nat 20 would have torched it and maybe the kitchen...) It can still be eaten.

You guys can add that to your post, if you like.

The girl has not destroyed your excellent fish, but she overdid it.

Will you tell her so?
Smile politely and eat?
Pretend it is wonderfully cooked?

You can make WIS checks to try to figure out if she seems at all nervous about the cooking job she just did.

Critical success

Branca is nervous and seems to realize that she has over-cooked the fish.

Insight tends to suggest that your idea of just politely thanking her and eating the fish, but not making a big deal or giving phony compliments, would be best.

I will let Steve to write it if he wants since Gertie did the fishing, Tom just assisted and maybe even annoyed her by how useless he is in such stuff. But at least he did the stiring!

About Branca he will be polite as well and eat the fish without any comments though.

Probably tomorrow night ;)

I've set up Chapter Four, but only with a placeholder.

When you are ready, feel free to post your fishing trip, guys.

We will then move closer to/to mission time.

I will advance the timeline as needed.

Is the party's plan...

What is it, exactly?
Somebody post it here.
I am NOT going to railroad. I do need to know how you all are proceeding.

Based on previous IC and OOC, I will ask some questions:

1)WHO is going to make contact with Ellissa?(Will there be prior contact, or just grab her and run?)

2)WHAT method will the PCs use to extract Ellissa from the care of her minders/guards? Force? Trickery? Magic? What's the plan?

3)WHERE are they planning on meeting her/grabbing her? At home? In the city streets?

4)WHEN are they going to get her? Time estimate.

5)How do they plan on physically moving from wherever it is that they take Ellissa (at home, shopping, whatever) to the rendezvous at The Dancing Maidens? On foot? Some other means?

6)Is the party splitting up or sticking together?

7)Is anyone leaving the inn before the mission begins, to buy things or to make some other preparations? Aldron will pay for reasonable stuff, like a rented wagon, rented horses, rope, etc.

8 )Anything else these questions have not covered?
