Oh, snap! That's good. You guys can flee the scene. They may or may not track you, but you have escaped combat with Elissa, if you like.

If needed Tom attacks with all the intention to harm! They are assassins that want us dead. They even have false priest! We have been ambushed no coincidence here.

I don't trust Aldron we need to regroup elsewhere.

So he will hold the rear or retreat?

If he retreats now with the rest you can all escape together. If he stands, he is outnumbered something like eight to one ( more baddies have arrived, don't forget...)

Or did you just mean that if the baddies show up again he will attack to kill?

Cool.

NP, as with the little confusion I accidentally caused Steve ( my fault for not being crystal clear on FB) I am always very happy to wait, clarify, and check player intent.

While poor Fild is again far away from the action, I have a couple of suggestions made OOCly:
- Go to the secret tunnels and hide Elissa
- Titus remains with Elissa
- One of you guys goes to find RICHARD (we can't be 100% sure that Aldron or more possibly one of his trustees didn't betray the plan) and try to pass him a message in person

If it's an elaborate plan to kidnap an important Hoblin for leverage, pinning it on random adventurers and mercs is the way to do it.

If he meets back up, he can make these suggestions in character.

OOC convo is gone, of course.

Now, about FILD and Titus, is their situation clear?
Any actions?

You can retreat, risking a strike as you flee.

Or stay and try to knock out or injure the two standing guys, or whatever.

That is assuming you do not surrender, or something like that.

Mugger took out one of three men blocking your escape from the dead end alley.
