Fild prefers to go there, but he won't split from the others, unless he has to. He also can read signs too! He's literate and can see in the dark.

Intercepted his message? Intercepted his message?!
That fool noble didn't have Richard on his side, discussing every detail of the plan with him? It was all arranged with a message? Aldron thought he could have not one, but two heirs of merchant houses disappear in the same night?
Man, his house is doomed.

Alas, now the list of people that could have overheard something, or read a stray message includes people in three houses + those that were outside the door in the Admiral's arms.
It's very hard to find who talked now (if it was just one; Aldron has been careless). Anyone in the Savelle household aware of the plan was actually doing a service to his or her house.

And what monster sends assassins to kill a young girl? I still believe they wanted to capture her for ransom or something instead of killing her. That would be cruel, unecessary and unprofitable. Much better to have her under lock & key that send the whole city against them.

I swear if Fild was there, he would kick Aldron.

It wasn't one of us that is for sure.

I feel like Ethan Hunt in the first Mission Impossible movie. Hopefully I brought my chewing-gum bomb.

If he doesn't try to kill me, I'm going to put it in the win column.

POST ALSO SENT TO ALL PLAYERS AS A PM

Okay, Chapter Six is done.

When you are all caught up, we can go ahead.

Here is my minor spoiler filled rundown for metagame use:

THOM and GERTIE are with Elissa Holbin at the vineyard cabin ( the same place the party busted into to fight the thugs who had jumped Aldron Folbre that first day the party was in the city. All PCs know about the tunnel the robbers used.

Alfonse knows GERTIE and THOM are there with Elissa.THOM and GERTIE know that the wizard left alone , headed for FOLBRE's estate.

FILD and TITUS don't know where anybody else is, except DAMIEN, who is with them now. They are in transit. ( Alhoon wants to go to the pub where you met Aldron for mission stuff. Damien will do that, but he also wants to go check the Frisky Friar in case the others have returned to their place of lodging. I have left it all a bit vague so you can make your choices without me railroading you. ) No other PCs know the whereabouts or plans of these three because guys chose to split the group in half when you ran from the Holbin estate with Elissa.

Now...

What I need:

Adam
--Alfonse's response to Folbre's last two questions.
Anything else you want your PC to say or do in the next hour or less.

Varrus
--- Titus's plans, if any. Will he just follow Fild's lead, or does he have a different destination in mind?

Alhoon--
Your general plan of action assuming you reach the Admiral's Arms without being arrested by a patrol or assassinated by baddies.

Both you guys- What you think of Damien's suggestion of checking the party's lodging place at the Frisky Friar.

Stevil-- nothing much, GERTIE sleeps. :)

Van-- Is THOM going to nap?

Tom will not take a nap before Gertie and Elissa are up, we need someone to be awake and alert in case the thugs return. When one of the girls are up he will go to nap.

I actually planned to follow Titus' lead. My (not Fild's) general plan is to go to the admiral's arms and see what went down. From there, we decide whether to go to the Friar. It's also a suggestion that makes sense, but since we don't know anything, Fild prefers to go to the Admiral's first.

Where do you want me to post the response? At the end of Chapter 6?

His response will be:

"No, we haven't spoken to outsiders about this," Alfonse says, "That was why I had hoped to engage an outsider to return her to her house. If your men bring her back, there will be questions as to how you became involved. Even the best story can fall apart under close scrutiny."

We will do this as chapter seven opener.

Wait one...
