*Points at registration date.* - Boy, have we grown old!
I haven't really done any research on this myself, but - this is my problem:
Last weekend, I ran a CoD/nWoD version of the old "White Dwarf Magazine" module, "The Horse of the Invisible", which of course is based on the story of the same name by William Hope Hodgson. I enjoyed the game, and the preparation as a DM, and I would like to do something like this again - to adapt a literary source, this way.
Now, of course I know there's always Lovecraft, and the adaptations of his works released for CoC/Chaosium. - But I'm not terribly interested in that; I love Lovecraft, but he's not "my" author the same way than others are. (Like Poe, for example. Remember that first post of mine, seventeen long years ago?!
Do you have any recommendations for me?
Side note: I've lately also been reading up on the old "Chill" RPG, by Pacesetter et al. Liked it way better than I expected!
Stay safe, everyone, and thank you in advance!
- Rafe
