I am running a campaign during the ToUD and here are the events that I had going from the official timeline in the RL:PHB until 760.

759 - Fraternity of Shadows Richemulot branch relocates to Souragne.
760 - Drakov invades Darkon one more time and is repelled yet again.
Information seems to come my way whether by chance or by fate, but all this means, is that I have yet to find out what will kill me and why. - The Stygian Inquirer

I suppose the Galen Saga could take place, in an Alternate History.

But the whole thing took one week in game, then about three days for the second part...

IMC, Drakov has been killed when Azalin took back his throne, and now one of his sons holds the domain.

Maybe a bit too harsh for an unofficial timeline, but I think one should apply some bigger changes as well and not only *do a timeline out of the Gazs*... Some minor events at least could have been done... >For example, Tara Kolyana (?) has to die, IMO.

Strahd should play a role in the ToUD, and I highly doubt that he would still attracted by a woman in her mid-fifties... :) You know what I mean, I hope...

Drakov could die, and the darklordship could pass to the vampire. Meaning the instead of everyone bing slaves of the state and a bloodthirsty tyrant, they become cattle for the feeding of the thirsty vampire elite. When asked, everyone agrees that this is a vast improvement.

One of drakovs sons could remain on the thrown as a figurehead, with a nice bit of blackmail about those strange wings keeping him nice and compliant...

Year 760: another group of adventurer invades Castle Ravenloft and is destroyed
