The friends eat and rest a little, then Thalar gets up "OK it's about time to move on. I think the goblins shouldn't bother us since we are so many and you know how cowardly goblins can be,eh?" He mounts his horse and waits for the others then they travel on through the forest.
It is a rather quiet afternoon. No animals stir, which Thalar finds reallly odd. Holding a hand up for the group to stop, he disembarks, and puts a finger to his lips as he looks at everyone. Suddenly it looks like Thalar stumbles, as a mace appears as well as a Goblin! Thalar staggers with the hit to his back, surprised by the inivisible Goblin!
Suddenly, the party is attacked by arrows coming from out of the air, as many more Goblins appear! Elvira and Kel dont get hit, Renad gets on in the arm, Brethana just barely gets missed,Inovidil's cheek gets grazed,and Jarg gets one in the leg!
The once invisible goblins seem very bold indeed as they rush the party. We have time to dismount and get our weapons ready just as the goblins arrive at them.
Suddenly a wave of dispair hits the party, except for Renad and Elvira. The rest feel afraid and almost helpless as the goblins attack, but not wanting to die either, they can fight back but not as easily as they normally do.
A goblin jabs a spear at Inovidil, but narrowly misses her leg, stumbling a little with the big weapon.
Thalar deftly dodges a club from a Goblin as he sings his sword awkwardly in fear, hurting the Goblin but not as much as he usually would.
Elvira quickly thorws both her daggers, scoring both times, the Goblin falling lifeless to the ground.
Jarg grimaces as he stands on his hurt leg. As he fakes the Goblin 1 way, the Goblin stumbles and falls onto Jarg's dagger by a stroke of luck. He guts him good, the Goblin dies as Jarg removes the dagger and hops back eyeing the scene.
The trip to Shadowdale
Inovidil looks surprised she hasn't felt like this before. She tries to concentrate and cast a spell but the desperation doesn't permit it. The witch stay at her place looking afraid the goblins near her.
"Ino, what are you doing? Defend yourself" Yells Kel and charges a goblin next to him. His great sword gets the creature at the chest and kills it. The back swing of the sword though, doesn't get the goblin next to it.
"What is happening. I have never missed a goblin before". Cries Kel.

Two darts of light gets the wolf's body as Inovidil extends her hands.
"Help me great Pelor" Says Renad as a loud sound is heard and a lance appear and gets the wolf's body too.

The beast shakes off most of the damage as if it was nothing. Brethana races to Kel and scores a hit with her blade, but the blade bounces off the beast, making her frown. She moves back as she drops the elvish blade to the ground, removing her great sword from the sheath at her back, yelling at the top of her lungs.
Thalar tries to get in an easy hit onthe beast and does, but as with Brethana, his blade bounces off the beasts body!

"Lucky? You considr my condition lucky Renad? I has almost see death's face. Thank you for your help guys. You see Brethana, the sword you got is magic and that saved my life. You are an excellent fighter." Says Kel as he stands up.
"Oh, I still feel dizzy and weak Renad."
"I'll heal you more my friend, but I can do nothing about your weakness, I hope you will be ok in a few days." Says the priest as he lays his hands to the fighter ans he heals him totally.

Thalar looks at the area, looking for tracks. "Guys over here!" He points to some tracks which lead off into the forest. They follow the tracks for a while until they come to a cave entrance. Thalar listens and motions for them to stay there. He enters and emerges 2 minutes later, smiling.
"It is empty except for the chest that beast had. Let's go see what we have gained this day, guys."
They enter and inside the cave it's smelly and dirty with bones everywhere. Against the wall is a chest, of which is closed but not locked.Elvira checks for traps and finds none. She opens it to find coins, parchments and some gloves.
"Well let's take this stuff and check it out,guys. I feel we should rest here for a while.Kel you don't look so good even though Renad healed you, man", Elvira states to Kel.
The party rests for the remainder of the day and into the morning as well

"Oh come on Renad, let me feel happy for once. You know I'm intelligent I will be careful, I promise. Actually will need to rest for some time here, I want to examine the scrolls adn the items we have found and of course get the scrolls to my spellbook. But I'll do that later, now, who wants to go out and have a taste of my new spells?" Says Inovidil always excited.

Thalar thinks a moment then says to the others "We can make it to Hluthvar by tonight if we ride hard for most of the day. Then Inovidil you can take time to learn all your scrolls and spells."
Renad heals anyone who needs healing.

I saw the tracks this morning and noticed the animlas were noisier and about. I also found these!!" she proudly shows the rabbits she hunted by herself to him, smiling shyly at her teacher.

"Hey, what about me, I have being practicing days now and finally I can have 2 attacks! Also I think that with some more exercise I can use my weapon in order to disarm my enemy or make him trip. Hah, I'm eager to get into an encounter." Says Kel with a smile/

"Thanks for identifying the gloves, Inovidil. I think I'll put them to good use" Jarg says to her, then winks. "They might help me in my "work". Come to think of it they will come in very handy, thanks again" he smiles as he puts them on testing how they feel on his hands. They feel as good as they look and felt in my hands. The craftmanship is amazing. And the magic makes them fit my hands perfectly. Magic can be quite useful at times
The party packs up after breakfast and ride hard till evening, when they arrive in Hruthlvar. There they find an Inn and get rooms then food and spend a nice evening by the fire. Inovidil spends the time learning a new spell while Thalar spends time in meditation to learn the spells of his god.
The evening passes without incident and the morning arrives. They all wake up late and eat a hearty breakfast, glad for a break in the travelling.

"You can go if you want, but I have homework! I want some days to get the scrolls to my spellbook. Then I want to scribe a pair of scrolls, the one who make us move faster and the one which dispels magic. You know just in case. Who said that being a witch is an easy thing! Says Inovidil.
"Wise choice. What about you guys? You will go out practicing or care for a walk?" Asks Reand.
"If you go practice I'll join you. While Brethana practices with Elvira I can practice with Thalar. I'm eager to make you see my new tecniques elf." Says Kel.
