Ravenloft in Paizo's RPG Superstar Contest!

Post by ChrisNichols »

In a shocking development, I've made it into the second round of Paizo's RPG Superstar contest. My winning submission, the deadstring shears, can be viewed here.

I'm completely stunned, really. These have been rattling around in my Ravenloft notes in one form or another for years.

Let's keep our fingers crossed...

Nice item :)

How does this contest work? I mean who votes for this?

The judges are Erik Mona (Paizo), Wolfgang Baur (Kobold Quarterly), and Clark Peterson (Necromancer Games).

Good news for all of us Chris! Keep Ravenloft in the memories of the old generation so that they enlighten (or endarken) the new generation.

Here's Chris' entry:

Of course, it would needed to be ellaborated further, but I like it! :)

Quite frankly, I choked. I spent too long dithering over the concept and not enough time actually writing the stupid thing.

:(

Sorry to see you didn't make it, Chris! I voted for you!

(Liked the concept enough that I would've voted even if it wasn't you, short as it was.)

Hey Chris, its glad to see others who participated and were chosen. I've been absent from these boards for about a year now as life and gaming have taken a turn away from Ravenloft. But there is always a dark place in my heart for the mists. I submitted by villain last night, but I feel that if I do make it to the monster round, my monsters will be along the horror bent. Thus far in each round I've done something different, soon it will be time for horror for me, hopefully.
