"We should wake the others, and I think I'll do the honors. What room is the warden in, pray tell?"
A look of confusion comes over Dravens face at the question. "I ah, that is, Im not sure. I think it was next door but I wasnt paying attention when we arrived." He says looking meaningfully at Tarlyn. "Perhaps we should wake them all anyway, we might as well meet back here as it seems I wont get anymore sleep tonight." He sighs looking at the large Wolf sitting on his bed....
[OOC: OOps my bad, missed that the question was directed at Draven, anyway that gives you Carte Blanche to go wake anyone of your choosing... ]
"I had a dream, which was not all a dream.
The bright sun was extinguish'd, and the stars
Did wander darkling in the eternal space..."
Tarlyn opened the door and moved silently down the hall to the next one. Deftly unlocking it, he enters it spies th sleeping form of Van. Moving to the lamp, he lites it.
"Hey sleepyhead, wake up" Tarlyn says to Van as he bends down an gets to eye level with the mage.
Van jumps up us the sudden light of the lamp gets him.
"What the.... Ah you...welcome back Taryn. What are you doing here? You couldn't get in an empty room! It's still night outside and we should leave at the morning."
- The first 2 Feats a wizard should take are "point blank shot" and "Precise shot"!
- W H A T ! ? !
- Or they should NEVER memorize rays!
"Sure ok, go and wake them. I don't want to be the one who will yell at!"
Van stands up, gets dressed and look out of the window. The sun hasn't rise completely, but the dawn is still very beautiful. But the wizard doesn't admire it very much since he is still sleepy.
"I knew that it was still night outside! We have at least an hour before morning..."

Cornelius comes to his door and open it. He looks surprised to see the dark elf.
''Tarlyn? Van, what's going on?''

Stirring slightly in his sleep, William see's himself aboard the ship he served as first mate upon for many a year, The Sea Spirit. The sky as blue as ever as the steady blow of the ocean breeze sends a familiar salty breath into his eager lungs. Everyone is staring at him with glazed and thoughtless expressions. The crew looks worse for wear, as if no one has eaten for days. Not a one of them makes a sound. William feels his heartbeat begin to quicken pace as he looks from one fellow ship mate to the other. What has come over them?
From nearby, a gull's caw resonates in the first mates ears, making him wince and cover his ears with his hands.
He opens his eyes. The crew is gone. Standing before him is the form of captain Barnes. Grinning with sharklike teeth, he moves toward William. The explosion of a gun shot is heard, sending William bnack into consiousness, bolting upright from his bed in the inn.
His breath coming in great panting gasps, his watery eyes search the darkness for any sign of danger. Reaching beneith his pillow, he removes his flintlock and places it in his lap. He pauses for a moment before rifling through the pockets of his wool coat near the bedside, removing his old flask of rum. Hastily he removes the cap and takes a greedy, lengthy pull from his old habit. He draws in a deep sigh and exhales slowly with a whimper.
"Damn you Barnes. Damn you and the Spirit. May yeh rest in peace in the deep and let me be..."
[OOC: From Tarlyn, who cant post due to admin issues at the mo]
Tarlyn looked at everyone. "Sorry for waking you, but we have to move now. The patrol you ran into today has reported back to the Wizard's academy and in an hour or two there will be armed guards after you. They will of course be accompanied by a wizard or two of no small accomplishments." He waited for it to sink in. "We don't have much time. I'll wait for you in the hall. Valerian and Sefi" he looks down at the the huge back wolf "I'd like a few private words with you."
He exits the room and then he follows Valerian and Sefi into the Wardens room. "I have been in contact with your superiors, Valerian. You must go with Ms Tara and help her spread the word of Ezra. Ms Sefi you may chose to follow or come with us. I stress you follow Valerian. This is a dangerous land and the both of you can help Ms Tara and at the same time protect her." He nods then reaching out, he clasps the Wardens arm firmly with his hand. "Good luck to the both of you."
Tarlyn exits the room and goes to see the others. "OK let's get our behinds in gear, we have to get out of here now."
"I had a dream, which was not all a dream.
The bright sun was extinguish'd, and the stars
Did wander darkling in the eternal space..."
William, who looks amazingly awake given the circumstances, clumsily complies with the dark elf's orders, going back into his room and stuffing his belongings back into his pack. "Wasn't gettin much sleep this night any how...ole Cap'n Barnes is back in my thoughts..." He thinks to himself with a small pause before finishing up and joining the others.
"I've got horses hidden outside Ramulai. Hopefully it'll take them a while to realise we've fled and by then our trail will be cold for them. I hope."
They made their way down the stairs in complete silence. Exiting by the back entrance, Tarlyn led them quietly through the winding streets of Ramulai. The sun had yet to rise but on the horizon the red signified i t's impending arrival. Nearly an hour later , Ramulai was behind you as the sun began it's rise to the heavens.
"Let's ride like the wind all day. We can stop this afternoon after the mountains and eat then. After that we'll head north and pass a castle or fortress of some sort to try to get near Kartakass and enter by tomorrow. If all goes well of course."
'' Kartakass... it'll be good to finally get there.''
Cornelius holds on hand on the saddle horn to steady himself as he rides.
''You said there's a castle or fort up ahead. Do you know what it is called?''

"I don't know, friend Cornelius" he replies inperfect Dwarven. In Mordentish for everyone else. "I don't want to know. But knowing the nature of this land,I am not inclined to visit this castle anytime soon. I'm sure you all agree with me. I'll fell much better when we arrive in Kartakass. I know someone there who will guide us and help us."
" I fear parties know we are coming. So we will have to be very careful. I also learned something that might be the answer to our friend Alexander's predicament." Tarlyn edges his mount forward.. "I'll scout ahead but not be far" he yells back. And speeds off.

Cornelius takes a moment to reach ino his knapsack and feed his lizard.
''Not to cold, boy? Good. Here, have some grasshopper.''
He seems to be a bit more comfortable in the saddle than he was at first, as he is no longer tightly clutching the saddlehorn.

Every few minutes you'll see Tarlyn far ahead. This goes on for nearly an hour before he returns at a normal pace. "We are safe until after the mountains." The mountains loom closer now, from a small speck in the horizon at Ramulai to very present now. To the north is a thick forest and before you lays the mountains. Plains pass between both.
"We should pass through the plains and around the mountains. By the time pass the northern edge of the mountains and keep our route, the castle won't be too far. We should stop by the foot of the mountains. There we can eat then we must leave. I don't think anyone from Ramulai has found our trail but you never know. I rather not give them a chance to catch up to us. Any suggestions? Thoughts?"
