Mists over the Musarde, Chapter Two
"I'd like that Norzak. I've not had a bath in many a month. Alas it is a luxury I can't always afford. Perhaps then we can go to the river quarter and question some of those working women about this pimp Van Dieks. I'd like to show you how I can be of use Norzak. There is nary a woman who can resist my charming tounge."
Jonathan takes note of the way Norzak spits out the words women beater, and moves closer to him as if he was being protected.

It is now mid-afternoon. The sun is out with few clouds in the blue sky, but a cool wind gusts through the city, tossing up flurries of golden, red, and brown leaves and scattering them across the cobblestone streets.
The neighborhood around your office is a little busier than usual. A dozen men are driving a small train of covered wagons into a brick and stone warehouse across the street. The canvas tarps prevent one from seeing what's underneath.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Remaining alert and looking about in such a way as to appear natural and calm, Alain sees no one following him [except perhaps hungry members of the party!].Lord Skybolt wrote:Alain is on his way to collecting info , keeping a look out for tails and such.
The men across the street pay him no mind, as they are busy with their freight.
Where is Alain going to begin his search?

The workers ignore Jonathon as he approaches. He's able to get close enough to snatch a glance benath one of the tarps when a gust of wind blows it loose [it appartenty wasn't tied down securely]. What he see is what looks like bales of long, brown, dried leaves. The wind shifts and floods Jon's nostrils with the unmistakeable fragrance of tobbaco.

After going in that area Alain will be checking any other likely places for hide out's and such . He will be trying to keep an eye on Jon if he encounters him in his investigations but not reacting as if they have ever met.

While Jonathon is snooping around the freighters across from the party's office, Alain is nearby, keeping an eye out for informants and ear open for rumors.

The Lorelei-
The Lorelei is a three storey wood, stone, and red brick building in the River Quarter. The upper floors and slate shingled roof lean out a just a bit. The place is not in excellent repair, but niether does it give the appearance of being tumbledown or rickety. It does look old, like most buildings in this town.
Above the black stained, scarred wooden double doors hangs a placard. The placard is painted with the image of a lovely golden haired, bare breasted woman. She rests atop a rock jutting from the blue water of a river. In her hands is a giolden harp.
Through the doors and isnide the brothel, is a dimly lit foyer. A pair of hulking thugs stand to either side of a small inner door.
Past the goons, one finds a large and haphazardly decorated lobby. Women are seated all about the room, on chairs, behnches, and couches. They range from young women [little more than girls, a few of them] to middle aged veterans of the pillow trade. There are blondes, redheads, brunettes, etc. Every size from bean pole skinny to pleasantly plump are to be found here. There are a couple of dozen girls, all told.
A short, greasy looking balding man moves towards Jonathon. He wipes his hands on his cheap suit of tunic and breeches before greeting Jonathon as he enters the room.
''Welcome to the Lorelei. I don't recognize you good sir, so this must be your first time here, no? What's your pleasure, m'sieur?''
[Norzak can be wherever you like- sneaking around outside, inside in a funny disguise,etc- just let me know, Tarlyn]
