Yes, A Touch of Evil is the new game from Flying Frog. There are two game modes, the first being a competitive monster hunt where all the players try to be the first to hunt down and destroy the evil plaguing a small colonial village. The second is a cooperative version in which all players pool their resources to destroy more powerful versions of the monsters. I have only played the second game mode, which is a bit like Arkham Horror with some cool variants. I have yet to play the first game mode, the competitive version, which I think would really set apart game play from Arkham.tarlyn wrote:Dude those games all rock! So, how'd everybody's Halloween go? 
I had a pretty good time at Dorney Park. The drop-ride was indeed cool at night, and I didn't barf or anything (though the Hydra did shake me up pretty hard). The scares were a bit low-budget in places, but clever, and the blaring music throughout the park was mostly songs I liked. The best costume I saw on a park employee was a guy dressed in ragged strips of flowing gray material, like a dementor or nazgul, who stalked around the entry zone on spring-stilts.
I didn't actually stay there as long as I'd first thought, but only because I got hungry and didn't care to pay six bucks for a measly hot dog. So I left around 10:30 to go to a sports bar, where my waiter was dressed up as Michael Phelps in an American-flag cape and speedo. A lot of the bar's customers were dressed up too, most of them as sports or rock stars.
Sunday at the zoo was even better, IMO. The pair of arctic wolves not only got off their duffs, but they ran around like it was party time!
The keepers tossed a life sized cardboard-box "deer" into their exhibit, with goodies (dead mice) hidden in it. One wolf grabbed the head off the "carcass" and ran off to chew it to bits, while the other pulled at the "body" to get to the nibbles inside. The male wolf was pretty wary of the bigger piece, jumping at the "deer" and then leaping back like he was afraid this strange object would bite him, so his sister got nearly all the mice for herself. Next time I design a werewolf NPC, I'll be sure to keep their antics in mind.
Later, the camels, lynxes, and lemurs all got "trick or treat presents" of their own. Fun times, and a nice way to put off grading exams for an afternoon.

I hung out with some friends and we played Zombies! while Samurai Jack was playing in the background. Although I still don't get the appeal of that show, it was pretty fun anyway. My friend bought an expansion of blank cards and tiles for the game, so we made new locations like the Post Office, Internet Cafe, and Chinese Laundromat, and cards like the Cricket Bat, Going Postal, and Katana to make the zombie fighting even more crazy.
OK so my Halloween weekend went like this.
Friday Night I jammed [music] at a bar. And I ended up jamming with Brian Greenway of April Wine! "I'm not worthy!" I"ll never forget that!
Saturday was just some movies and Sunday all day we played Board Games as BBQD mentioned! A Touch of Evil is a really good one as is Arkham Horror!

I went to a party dressed as Anton Chigurh. There were a lot of single attractive women there, so chances of a guy hooking up with one were reasonably good.
Of course, as luck would have it, the girl I ended up bringing home was very attractive, but she wasn't single. This is because the girl I ended up bringing home was my girlfriend
She had come as Lara Croft and we actually played out a little gunfight about halfway through the night when we were both a little drunk. She had two silenced pistols and I had a big fricking silenced shotgun.
