Rock!

Rex has a business proposition for you! It may have to wait until they've had more time to be introduced. However, once he knows Lia better, he'll be a nice fit.

And I honestly think you'll find interacting with Rex more pleasant than Cyrus and Kuzan ;) Fewer fights, less anger.

@ NT: What did you do to the British tourists...? ^^; It sounds like you enjoyed yourself in Paris, though. I'm glad.

@ KK: Well, I shall look forward to it very much. ^^

You become a red stain that we scrape off the ground ;)

If you fail only a little, you get to cling to the side of the building by your fingernails, and hopefully the others pull you up in time.

If you fail by a lot, you get hurt (Kage exaggerates, you aren't high up enough to become a stain. You'll probably leak a bit though), and you're surrounded by wraith/spirit hybrids.

Soo would that make acrobatics the choice for a spot of competance inspiring?

Getting to the center of the wraith cloud by means of the rooftops:

Main Check: DC 18 Acrobatics/Athletics (choose one skill to use).

Powers use: The use of a suitable Power (either a Teleport or a flying ability) removes the need for the check and counts as an automatic success. Note, however, that you won't get a chance for a short rest till after you guys depart from the wraith cloud, so if you use up an Encounter power now... you will not have it later.

Supplementary Checks: Success on a DC 18 Streetwise Check provides a +2 bonus to your Main Check (you find a good place to jump). Success on a DC 18 Acrobatics/Athletics check (whichever one you did not use for the main check) provides a +2 bonus to your Main Check. These two bonuses are cumulative with each other and whatever else you have, Inspire Competence, etc). If you can think of another good skill to provide a bonus, let me know.

Success/Failure: Since you guys are tying yourselves to one another, whether or not you get across will be determined by the group as a whole. If 51% of you make the check (that's 6 out of 11, counting Remy and Andre), then you all get across. If at least 51% or 6 out of 11 of you don't make the check... well, say hello the bird-wraith-spirits.

You can opt not to tie yourself to the rest of the team. In that case, only your own success or failure determines whether or not you go splat. It also reduces the number of people in the above equation, so if two people opt out, that leaves 9 PCs & NPCs, and you only need 51%, that is, 5 people to make the check.

Clear as crystal?

I vote for an Inspire Competence to Acrobatics. Rex has a +14 base, so the +2 will go a very, very long way to ensuring automatic success.

Right, so I have +7 Acrobatics (w/out the buff). Who wants to go in front of me :B?

Blech, don't try to figure it out, it's probably wrong. Based on "Sancte Michael Archangele," it says:

Lady Ezra, defend us in battle; be our safeguard and protection against the wickedness and snares of the Legions. May light rebuke them; we humbly pray: and do thou, Queen of the Mists, by the power of [the divine], thrust into hell the criminals and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Just a heads up, I can tree stride us to the riverbank. It means some cloud time, but potentially less than if we go splattastic with operation rooftop shenanigans.

Potentially more given that I think most people will have at least a 50-50 chance of making the check if Nic sings competence.

EDIT to add:

Everyone should attempt the Streetwise check and the non-main check for the extra +2 each. Every little bit helps and you can't hurt yourself by failing one of those.
