Baldur's Gate II Mods using Ravenloft
So, I noted this over on the piazza, but it's probably worth noting here. A modder called Weasel has made an assortment of mods that borrow from a mix of the classic campaign setting and the reboot continuities for a variety of mods that take place within the Demiplane of Dread. So far, there are two. They are The Bloodied Stings of Barovia and Juniper and the Stone Leech (set in Har'Akir). Both are full quest lines, ultimately ending as a "Weekend in Hell" type of play akin to few of the adventures as well as the newer modes of play. While I find it curious that the mods don't try to keep more in line with 2E, as BG itself is very much 2E in terms of storylines and then some, both proved pleasant enough to play. These are available for the "Enhanced Edition" version of the game. Evidently, there is an adaptation of I6, but this was optimized for the classic version. I cannot currently find a link to it.

Does it include any of the setting-unique character options?

They're quest mods, so sadly no. If I knew more of the engine, I'd consider tinkering myself.TheArcaneWeirdo wrote: Sun Jun 21, 2026 10:03 am Does it include any of the setting-unique character options?
