Grandfather Ward was the father of Lady Ann-Elizabeth Ward. He was a former adventurer and he owned Ward Mansion, including the Tower of Ward Mansion. However, after he passed away, Lord Jeremy Barthold was quick to take it for his own. Jeremy kicked out Phillip Ward and eventually imprisoned Lady Gowena Ward-Barthold within the tower. However, inside the tower, Gowena found many of her grandfather's old adventuring gear, including a library[1] and his old magical longsword called Night Veil.[2]
