Using the Fang of the Nosferatu to gain invulnerability via serial murder is one example of an Act of Ultimate Darkness.[1] Likewise, Domains of Dread defines Strahd's betrayal and murder of his brother Sergei von Zarovich as an act of ultimate darkness.[2]
