The Ulvskoven ("the Wolfwood") is largest of the three great forests of Kartakass.[1] It covers nearly the entire northern half of the domain, and it encompasses a lake called the Mᴓrkendre ("Black Heart").[2]
The Ulvskoven merges into the Tepurich Forest ("Scarred Forest") of Barovia to the north.[3] To the south and east, it is separated from the Rodskoven ("the Redwood") by the Kilovan River.
The Merchant's Way connecting Skald to Sithicus constitutes its southern frontier. It is transected by the Crimson Road connecting Teufeldorf and Skald.
The forest is shunned by humanity.
