Ulwaddithri, the Consuming One, is one of the Loa of Souragne[1]. While the Lord of the Dead may be the most feared of the Loa, Ulwaddithri is the most reviled. She embodies poison, disease and famine; she is the patron of plague and want and the unclean. Most rituals held in her honour are meant to appease her, rather than to call upon her.
