| A Dwarven Vampire is a dwarf who has returned from death via the Dwarven Vampire [[:category:vampire strain|strain]] of [[vampire|vampirism]]. This strain only affects dwarves, hence all Dwarven Vampires are both [[Dwarf]]s and [[Vampire]]s, but not all Vampires who are Dwarfs are affected by this strain. It is possible for a Dwarf to contract another strain of vampirism, including the basic version.
