| Captain of the Mists is a prestige class available only to [[giomorgo]] ("half-vistani") characters. Its distinguishing feature is the ability to use [[Mistway]]s with a lesser chance of being led astray and deposited in some undesired location, due to the Captain's [[Vistani]] heritage, experience, and savvy. Captains of the Mist are widely recognized as the premier ship captains and caravan leaders of [[Ravenloft]] because of this ability (and the other abilities of the class).
