Leyla Salazar was a Vistani of the Naiat tribe.[1] She was the mother of Nikko Salazar and wife of Raul Salazar, but she died in childbirth.[2] She now haunts them as a Ghost, appearing whenever Raul plays his violin.[1] Her affection is slowly killing Nikko. However, distorted by the negative emotions surrounding her death as well as the music of the violin[3], Leyla does not seem to fathom her unnatural nature.[4]
